Records created by the Office of Associate Dean for Postgraduate Education during the tenure of Dr. José́ Ferrer, 1973-1982. The records document Ferrer's investigations into possible residency opportunities at hospitals with which P&S was discussing affiliation agreements. The records provide a snapshot of the state of medical postgraduate training and education at a diverse group of community hospitals in the metropolitan New York area in the 1970s.
